Why Gift a Real Asset?
It’s a powerful vote for tangible value in a world of digital trends and disposable items.
It's a conversation starter about their future, and a piece of history they can hold in their hand.

An Important Note on Smart Gifting
We're here to make gifting assets simple, and part of that is being fully transparent. Euda is not a financial advisor, and we do not offer investment or tax advice.
Precious metal prices can be volatile, and the value of your asset may go down as well as up. Any information we provide is for general guidance, and no responsibility can be accepted by Euda for any loss caused by acting on it.
We always recommend you conduct your own independent research and seek independent financial advice if you're unsure about anything.
The Finer Details
Everything you need to know about the assets themselves, from tax benefits to terminology.
What's the difference between a coin and a bar?
Think of bars as the purest, most straightforward way to own the metal—their value is all about the gold content. Coins are that, plus a piece of art. They're crafted by government mints (like The Royal Mint) and their legal tender status often makes them Capital Gains Tax (CGT)-exempt.
What do terms like 'fineness' and 'bullion' mean?
We try to avoid jargon, but these two are useful. 'Fineness' is basically a score for purity. A fineness of 999.9 means 99.99% pure gold. 'Bullion' is just the industry term for investment-grade precious metals, like the products we sell.
Are there tax benefits to gifting gold or silver?
Yes. All the investment-grade gold and silver we sell is VAT-exempt. Better still, some of our most popular gifts—like the Britannia and Sovereign coins—are UK legal tender. This means they are also exempt from Capital Gains Tax (CGT), which is a nice bonus. (As always, for personal tax advice, it's best to consult a professional).
Is there a limit to how much I can spend?
To keep things simple and compliant, we have an online transaction limit of £8,500. This is a regulatory thing. If you're planning a larger gift, we'd be happy to help—just email us at info@gifteuda.com for a simple identify verification.
What if I want to gift an asset that isn't on your site?
Great question. Our website features our core collection, but we can source specific items through our network of trusted suppliers. If you have a particular coin or bar in mind—like an Australian Kangaroo coin or a different Sovereign—please email us at info@gifteuda.com and our team will do their best to find it for you.
Can the gift receiver easily sell the asset?
Yes, absolutely. One of the biggest benefits of gifting a real asset like a Britannia coin or an LBMA-certified bar is that it's easy to sell. There is a large and established market of trusted online dealers who will buy them. The process is typically very simple: you get a quote online, post the item securely, and the dealer transfers payment once it's verified.
